(From Parker Mortuary)Scott A. Wiseman, age 60 of Joplin, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at The Communities of Wildwood where he has resided the past 3 years.
Scott was born April 26, 1964 in Joplin to Fredrick and Carol (Orcutt) Wiseman. Growing up, Scott attended school at McAuley Catholic School and later went on to receive degrees in Computer Programming from Missouri Southern State University of Joplin and his Master’s degree at Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri. Scott worked for the City of Kansas City Utilities Department prior to retiring due to health issues. He was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church.
Scott is survived by his mother, Carol Wiseman of Joplin; brothers, Noel Wiseman (Natalie) and Christopher Wiseman (Peggy), both of Joplin; sisters, Rachel Goodrich (Michael) of Baxter Springs, Kansas and Marissa Winnett (David) of Joplin; Sister-in-law Candace Wiseman of Webb City; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Scott is preceded in death by his father, Fredrick ‘Rick’ Wiseman and a brother, Eric Wiseman.
Family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri.
