Jim Miller

(From Clark Funeral Home)

James Charles Miller, 78, passed away on August 1, 2026, leaving behind a life marked by resilience, quiet joy, and a deep appreciation for the simple gifts of the world.

Jim was born on March 10, 1948, to Charles and Bernice (Hehl) Miller. At the age of five, his family moved from Monroe, Michigan, to Lansing, Michigan, where he attended the Michigan School for the Blind, graduating in 1967.

He is survived by his brother, Steve Miller and his wife, Linda; his daughter, Latisha Martin and her husband, Michael; two beloved grandchildren; and one treasured great-grandchild.

In 1995, Jim made Neosho, Missouri, his home. He later lived at Oaks, then Henley House until 2020, before moving to Maple Nursing Home in Springdale, Arkansas.

Jim found happiness in music, animals. His three loyal Labrador Retrievers were faithful companions and a constant source of comfort throughout his life.

As Glen Campbell sang, “There’ll be no tears to cry for me.” Though those left behind will grieve, they take comfort in knowing Jim’s memory will continue to live on in their hearts.
