Raymond Bruton

Raymond Eugene Bruton, 87, of Neosho, Missouri, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2026. He was born on August 22, 1938, in Golden, Missouri, to William Frank Bruton and Tempia (Lemasters) Bruton.

Raymond was preceded in death by his two beloved wives, Alma Marie Bruton and Annie Bruton. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his son, Raymond Bruton Jr. of Ottawa, Kansas; daughter, Gena Finstad of Oskaloosa, Kansas; two brothers, Dale Bruton of Kelso, Washington, and Floyd Bruton of Miami, Oklahoma; four stepchildren; numerous grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.








Raymond was preceded in death by his sister, Ruby Holman; Willie King; brothers Junior Bruton and Martin Bruton; and sisters Lottie Payton and Ina Sue Pollock.

Raymond attended Bible Holiness Church and cherished his faith and the fellowship of those around him. He was a man who enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. He loved tinkering with things and could often be found working on or figuring out how something worked. He enjoyed watching television, especially old Westerns, and had a particular appreciation for recycling and finding new uses for things. He also enjoyed working on puzzle books and listening to country and bluegrass music.








Raymond will be remembered for his unique personality, his love of family, and the many simple moments that made him special to those who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his children, grandchildren, great-grandchild, siblings, and friends.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him

Private family services will take place at a later date.
