Diana Lynn (Hunter Allen) Pirkey, age 59, Joplin, passed on to her Heavenly home on December 2, 2017.
Diana was born September 9, 1958 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Lorena Hartje Hunter and the late Charles Hunter. Diana married George Allen on June 3, 1978 in Joplin and they later divorced. She then married Donald Pirkey on May 17, 1986 in Independence, Kansas. He survives.
A homemaker, Diana enjoyed ceramics and was an avid reader.
Additional survivors include her mother, Lorena Hunter, Carl Junction; a son, Timothy Allen, Coffeyville, Kansas; two daughters, Cassandra Pirkey, Coffeyville, Kansas, Jessica Hubbard and husband, Matthew, Ramona, Oklahoma; two sisters, Florena Brodman, Joplin and Charlene Kyser, Carl Junction; one granddaughter, Loren Hubbard, Ramona, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Graveside services are planned for Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Osborne Memorial Cemetery. Dan Toney, Minister, will officiate. Pallbearers will be Timothy Allen, Jonathon Littell-Brodman, Matthew Hubbard, Aaron Kyser, Greg Smith and Michael Singleton.
