Bill Willis

William Jackadair “Bill” Willis, 53, Carthage, Missouri, passed away Sunday evening, March 7, 2021 at Mercy Hospital, Carthage. Bill was born August 15, 1967 in Joplin, Missouri, the son of Daniel R. Willis and Annette (Mustain) Willis. 

He graduated from Carl Junction High School in 1984, and then went on to receive his master’s degree from Missouri Southern State University. 

He married Susan Lynn Williams on February 13, 1992 in Joplin, Missouri; she preceded him in death on April 10, 2019. Bill was a computer programmer for Leggett & Platt in Carthage. He enjoyed writing, even writing several books. Bill was a very caring and kind-hearted person, giving excellent care for his wife until her passing.

Survivors include his mother, Annette Willis, Oronogo, Missouri; and a sister, Stephanie Willis, Joplin, Missouri.

He was also preceded in death by his father, Daniel Willis.
