Jane Montgomery

Norma “Jane” Montgomery, age 79, of Joplin, passed away on Monday, April 5, 2021 at her home.

Jane, daughter of the late James and Ella (Armstrong) Fritchey, was born on April 6, 1941 in Hornet, Missouri. The oldest of three girls, she grew up and attended school at Seneca and Joplin high schools. 

She was a lifelong area resident and attended the First Baptist Church of Joplin. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. Her children and grandchildren were her greatest joy in life.

Survivors include two daughters, Lynne Keshavarz, of Joplin, and Julia Keshavarz, and her husband, Reza, of Joplin; two sisters, Anita Tyler, and Pam Smith; four grandchildren, Nathaniel Pierson, Emma Keshavarz, Daniel Keshavarz, and David Keshavarz; and seven great-grandchildren, Avahni, Makiah, River, Ryder, Caleb, Caden, and Arlo.

Graveside committal of ashes will be held on Friday, April 9, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery in Joplin.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin.
