(From Simpson Funeral Home)Billy Frank Forker age 87 of Carl Junction, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2021 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin. He was born in Waterloo, Iowa to Clarence Forker and Marie (Waters) Forker on November 18, 1933.
Billy worked in the construction field for many years until his retirement.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sydney Forker on September 22, 2019.
Billy is survived by his son, Tim Forker and wife Kim of Carl Junction; sisters, Pam Oberdick of Liberty, Missouri, Rebecca Abbott of Springfield, Missouri; 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Billy’s wishes were to be cremated and his family will have a memorial service at Mount Hope Cemetery Open Air Pavilion on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at 1:00 PM with full military honors.
