(From Clark Funeral Home)Joy Lynn Cash, age 70, of Neosho, Missouri, passed away at 2:35 a.m. on Thursday, December 16, 2021, at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, Missouri. She was born September 26, 1951, in Neosho, the daughter of the late David and Constance “Connie” (Knight) Watson.
Joy graduated from Joplin High School and worked as a housekeeper for Medicalodge in Neosho.
On April 17, 1970, she married Gary Lynn Cash in Carterville, Missouri. In her retirement Joy loved reading and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Gary; her son, Gary Lee Cash; daughter, Jennifer Lynn Westfall all of Neosho; four grandchildren, Codie Lee Eaggleston, Justus Dale Cash, Chasey Lynn Cash, and Ariel Jayde Westfall; two sisters, Shirrel Spittler and her husband, Gregg, and Deborah Bilbrey and her husband, Michael all of Seneca; and one brother, Christopher Brady of Joplin.
In addition to her parents, her son Steven Dale Cash, preceded her in death.
A graveside service, under the direction of the Clark Funeral Home in Neosho, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at the Neosho IOOF Cemetery with Jerry Siegel officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00 p.m. on Monday, December 20, in the funeral home. In Joy’s memory, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital c/o Clark Funeral Home, PO Box 66, Neosho, MO 64850.
