(From Clark Funeral Home)Patsy “Joyce” Clarkson, age 89, of Neosho, Missouri, passed away at 2:10 A.m. on Thursday, December 16, 2021, at Medicalodge of Neosho. She was born November 24, 1932, in Brownsville, Texas, daughter to the late Oris and Grace (Medcalf) Salyer.
On February 10, 1965, she married Manuel Clarkson in Miami, Oklahoma, together they shared 56 years of marriage. Joyce worked as the secretary for Roy Carter at the Newton County Extension Office. She was a member of the Hillcrest Church of Christ, loved going to the lake, fishing, and skiing.
She is survived by her husband Manuel, of the home; daughter, Dana Craker, and husband, Robert of Bolivar, Missouri; son, Randy Stockburger and wife, Bobbi, of Lavaca, Arkansas; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, one son, Mike Stockburger; brother, Bruce Salyer; and sister, Linda Garrett, preceded her in death.
The Clark Funeral Home has conducted arrangements. No services are planned. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Joyce’s memory may be made to the Hillcrest Church of Christ c/o Clark Funeral Home, PO Box 66, Neosho, MO 64850.
