(From Parker Mortuary)Caroline K. Cunningham, age 90, of Joplin, formerly of Paw Paw, MI, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 5, 2023, at Joplin Health & Rehabilitation in Joplin.
Caroline, daughter of the late George and Adeline (Jansen) Fadel, was born on December 27, 1932, in Chicago, IL. She grew up in Chicago and moved to Clovis, NM where she resided for a number of years until she relocated back north to Paw Paw, MI. In 2022 she moved to Joplin to be closer to family.
Caroline was a devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending quality time with family. Her quick wit and wise sense of humor was always evident when she was among family and friends.
Survivors include her children, Sharon Stuckwisch, and her husband, Joe, of Pittsburg, KS, and Darlene Barajas, of Blue Island, IL; grandchildren, Lisa Coffman, and her husband, Mike, of Joplin, Michelle Stanfield, and her husband, Travis, of Bernie, MO, Adrienne Cottongim, and her husband, Shawn, of Lowell, AR, and Joseph Barajas, of Blue Island, IL; 12 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Caroline was preceded in death by one son, Paul Stolte.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
