(From Parker Mortuary)Eilene B. Mitchell, age 65, Joplin, passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Freeman West of Joplin after a lengthy illness.
Eilene was born September 9, 1957 in Waynesville, Missouri, daughter of the late Edward Sooter and Dorothy (Higgins) Sooter. She grew up in Neosho and graduated from Neosho High School.
She was co-owner and operator of AAA Pack-N-Stack Storage Units in Joplin since starting the business in 2000. She was of the Baptist faith, and cherished the friends made through working the mini storages. She will be missed by many.
In addition to her parents, Eilene was preceded in death by two brothers, Bill and Chuck Sooter.

Survivors include her husband, Dale Mitchell whom she has been with for nearly 50 years, son, Kevin Mitchell of Joplin.
Funeral service will be Thursday, February 9, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in Parker Mortuary Chapel. Entombment will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Parker Mortuary on Wednesday from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.
