(From Parker Mortuary)Bo Austin James Bailey, age 21, of Joplin, MO, passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2025 at his father’s home in Blue Springs, MO.
Bo was born on December 19, 2003 in Joplin, MO, to David Bailey and Angela Shoemaker. Bo spent his early educational years at Carl Junction until 6th grade. He then transferred to Joplin schools and attended Joplin High School. Bo was an excellent wrestler and football player.
After his time in school, he worked for Shoemaker & Sons Construction with his step-dad, Mike Shoemaker. Later on, he moved to the Blue Springs, MO area, where he worked with his father at Rickey’s Asphalt. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his friend’s playing basketball at Schifferdecker Park and the Joplin Family YMCA.
Bo was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Kim Lowery.
Bo is survived by his mother, Angela Shoemaker and husband, Mike; father, David Bailey; brother, Bryson Lowery; and sister, Bentley McNally.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2025 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Parker Mortuary.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery with TeeJay Britton officiating.
Funeral arrangements are under the special care and direction of Parker Mortuary.
