Loretta Crim, 95, passed away on Monday, May 9, 2026, at her Joplin, Mo. residence surrounded by family.
Loretta was a longtime music educator at Joplin’s South Jr. High School who inspired and nurtured countless students over her decades with the Joplin School District and her private musical endeavors.

Memorial service to be held Wednesday, July 29, 2026, 10 a.m. at Christ's Community, Joplin, 2700 E 44th St.
There will be a reception/celebration immediately following in the church foyer.
