Stephanie Tracy

(From Parker Mortuary)

Stephanie Renee Tracy, 46, of Neosho, passed away early Friday morning, May 28, 2021 at home surrounded by family.

Stephanie was born April 8, 1975 in Joplin to Rick and Lavonne (Phelps) Tracy. She was a premature baby, weighing only three pounds and dropping to about 2.5 pounds thereafter.

Stephanie had an older brother and an older sister and she always loved to be outside. She went on daily walks with her parents and blew bubbles of excitement and joy.\

Stephanie loved to be around animals and enjoyed going home to the family farm. She had her family and friends trained to jump quickly at the drop of a stuffed animal because she loved to throw them. Stephanie had several toys that she loved, but her favorite was her singing Coca-Cola bear.

During her lifetime, Stephanie was able to participate in many adventures, including taking family trips to Branson to see her grandma, spending time at the lake, riding on a boat and much more. She always found her way into the hearts of all who had been around her and she always melted her Daddy’s heart. The love that she shared with her family is one to always be admired.

Stephanie had to endure more than most will ever have to. She beat the odds so many times. God always had a plan for her. If you have ever looked for the strongest woman in the world, look no more. There was a special place in Heaven reserved for Stephanie. She is our hero!

Stephanie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Juanita Frizzell, Virginia Tracy, Dolph Tracy and John Phelps Sr.; as well as several aunts and uncles.

She is lovingly survived by her parents, Rick and Lavonne; two siblings, Jennifer Tracy (David Roughton) and Rick Tracy, Jr. (Kelli); her niece and nephews, Chelsie Sietz (Mike), Dillon Katzer (Kayla), Rickie Tracy III, and Cody Carrico; as well as a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 4, 2021 at Parker Mortuary Chapel with Rick Tracy Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Hornet Cemetery with her family serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held Thursday from 6-7:00 p.m. at the mortuary. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Parker Mortuary.
