(From Knell Mortuary)Justin L. Bowles, 52, Carthage, Missouri, passed away Thursday evening, July 8, 2021, at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin, Missouri, following a short illness.
Justin was born March 5, 1969, in Fort Scott, Kansas, the son of Larry Bowles and Marilyn (Foster) Bowles. He was a 1987 graduate of Bronaugh High School, Bronaugh, Missouri.
Justin married the love of his life, Jodi, on September 11, 2004, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. He worked on the road crew for the Jasper County Highway Department and was a farmer and truck driver for many years. He enjoyed traveling anywhere he could be in the mountains. Justin was truly a loving and devoted husband and son.
Survivors include his wife, Jodi Bowles; and his mother, Marilyn Yazel.
He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Bowles; his second father, Richard Yazel; and his grandparents, Calvin and Wilma Foster.
Per Justin’s wishes, there was cremation. Memorial gifts are suggested to American Red Cross in care of Knell Mortuary. Online condolences may be expressed through www.knellmortuary.com.
