Mary Gayle (Kentner) Lollar, peacefully passed away in the early hours of December 26, 2022, at the age of 97.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Philip O. Lollar and her daughter, Emily Gayle Lollar. She is survived by her brother, Gary Kentner, son Rex O. Lollar, and family.
Mary was born June 22, 1925, on the family farm west of Golden City, Barton County, Missouri. She was the second child of Lyman Wakefield and Evalyn Kentner. She had an older brother, Lyman Wakefield Kentner, Jr., two younger brothers, Jacob Cyrus Kentner and Gary Ohler Kentner. She also had younger sisters, Erma Lee McGuire, Phyllis Jean McGuire, Alda Joan Tierney, and Martha Maxwell.
She was a Past Worthy Matron of the Order of The Eastern Star. She was a grandmother of five, great grandmother of eight and great great grandmother of nine.
Mary will be greatly missed by her family, loved ones, and all who knew her. We will always carry her in our hearts.
Interment will be in the IOOF Cemetery, Golden City, MO.
