Doyle Vance

Doyle Edward Vance Sr., of Granby, MO passed away Saturday, March 16th, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones. Doyle was born on August 25, 1947, in Granby, MO to Wayne and Verna (Judd) Vance. Doyle proudly served in the United States Army as a staff sergeant from September 1965 to February 1977 earning himself countless medals including a Purple Heart before retiring.

Doyle was a proud Granby High School graduate who married his high school sweetheart and love of his life Nania (Norris) Vance. Doyle was a man who wore many hats he was a carpenter, owner/operator truck driver, Dad, Grandpa, and beloved Peepaw. 








Doyle enjoyed working with his hands and building things. Doyle's other hobbies include watching his Kansas City Chiefs, playing & watching his great-grandbabies grow, & never forgetting their "Peepaw Candy."

Doyle is survived by his wife, Nania. His children Barbara Richardson & her spouse Doug, daughter
Valerie Vance, and son-in-law Larry Roller. His siblings Patsy Vance, Steve Vance & spouse Sherry, Evylen Bohannan, Bobby Vance & spouse Kim, and two sisters-in-law Jo Gary & Carolyn Norris. His
grandchildren Shelby Johnson & her partner Amber, Kayla Hedrick & spouse Josh, Patrick Johnson,
Samara Vance & her partner Miles, Victoria Vance, Garrett Richardson, Jessica Frix & her spouse Ben, and Vance Richardson. His great-grandchildren, Harper & Hollace Johnson, Tinlee, Titus, Harlyn & Piper Hedrick. As well as countless family and friends who all loved Doyle. 








He was preceded in death by his parents Wayne & Verna Vance, sons Brian Cox & Doyle Vance Jr., and daughter Dana Roller. Doyle will always be remembered for his heart of gold and his willingness to help everyone.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Doyle will be held on Friday, March 29, 2024, at Clark Funeral Home Granby Chapel. A visitation will be held following the service until 3:00 PM.
