Lois McIlvaine

Lois Darlene McIlvaine, a lifelong resident of Neosho, Missouri, passed away on May 7, 2025. She was born in Neosho to Ralph Damrill and Ruby Green, and she remained deeply rooted in the community she loved throughout her life.

Lois was known for her warmth, generosity, and dedication to her family. She married the love of her life, William (Bill) McIlvaine, on June 17, 1964, and together they built a strong and loving home. William survives her.








Lois was a talented seamstress, an exceptional cook, and a nurturing mother. She enjoyed gardening and found joy while tending to her plants and flowers. A dedicated leader, she also guided local youth as a Cub Scout leader. Above all, she will be remembered for her unwavering devotion to her family and her gentle, caring spirit.

She is survived by her children, David and wife Melissa McIlvaine of Neosho, Brian and wife Debra McIlvaine of Neosho, Lori McIlvaine of Neosho, Angel Hill of Grove, Oklahoma; son-in-law, David Womack of Southwest City; thirteen grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.

Lois was preceded in death by two daughters, Michele Lynne Womack and Christina Leann McIlvaine.








Visitation will be held Monday, May 12, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Clark Funeral Home – Chapel of Memories in Neosho. A funeral service will take place Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at 1:00 PM at the same location, officiated by Jerry Siegel. Interment will follow at Neosho Memorial Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, c/o Clark Funeral Home, P.O. Box 66, Neosho, MO 64850.

Lois’s love and legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew and cherished her.
