Lanny Mosley

(From Clark Funeral Home)

Lanny Gene Mosley went home to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 28, 2026. He was born on February 7, 1968, to Carl Gene and Thelma Ruth (Sappington) Mosley in Neosho, Missouri. He leaves behind his wife of 38 years, Paula Kay Mosley and a son, Matthew Gene Mosley.

Lanny Mosley is remembered by his love for the Lord, his deep love and duty to his family, and his generosity towards all that he met. Lanny Mosley was a hard worker and an entrepreneur. He spent his childhood working on his grandparents’ farm, a fact that he took pride in his whole life. Later he spent many years traveling the country finding locations for vending machines, visiting most of the continental United States.

After working various other jobs he founded Hillbilly Outlet in Neosho Missouri, the store beginning as a thrift store, selling various knickknacks before transitioning into furniture and finally in its final iteration with appliances. His transition from a thrift store in Neosho to a multi-store refurbished and scratch and dent appliance store with a fleet of trucks was one of his proudest moments and proved that anyone can accomplish their dreams with enough hard work.

Lanny never knew a stranger and loved to talk and meet new people. He was generous to a fault, helping many people out over the years be it buying them a meal to helping them pay rent and other expenses and never expected anything back. Lanny enjoyed going to auctions and garage sales and was always looking for bargains.

He was deeply loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He would want those who he has left behind to trust in Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior and to work hard for their family.

He is proceeded in death by his daughter, Stacy Ann Sluder; his parents, Carl and Thelma Mosley; maternal grandparents, Doyle and Evelyn Sappington; his uncle, Sam Sappington; and many cousins.

Visitation will be held from 1:30 – 2:30 pm on Monday, May 4, 2026, at Clark Funeral Home in Neosho, Missouri. Funeral service will immediately follow at 2:30 pm, also at Clark Funeral Home. Lanny will be laid to rest at Neosho Memorial Park Cemetery in Neosho, Missouri.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Teen Challenge c/o of Clark Funeral Home P.O. Box 66 Neosho, Missouri 64850.

She had a true passion for taking care of the elderly, and she approached that calling with patience, dignity, and genuine love. Her work was more than a job. Robert Gray

(From White Funeral Home)

At 88 years of age, Robert Frank Gray, a long‑time and faithful member of the Monett, Missouri Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, fell asleep in death on April 30, 2026. His unwavering confidence in Jehovah’s promise of a resurrection and a peaceful earthly paradise sustained him throughout his life.

Robert is survived by his loving wife, Gwen Gray, of Monett, Missouri. They were married for 66 years, a lifetime marked by loyalty, tenderness, and shared faith.

Robert’s greatest joy was preaching the good news of God’s Kingdom. Whether in the ministry or in everyday conversations, he eagerly shared the comforting truths he learned from the Bible. Everyone who knew him felt his warmth, sincerity, and genuine love for people. He was known for his simple but powerful reminder: “Listen, obey, and be blessed.” And that is exactly how he lived.

Robert would want everyone reading this to know about the real hope the Bible offers — a hope that brings comfort to millions today. He often shared scriptures that explain:

- That the dead are “asleep,” resting safely in Jehovah’s memory (John 11:11)
- That Jehovah promises to bring them back through a resurrection (John 5:28, 29)
- That soon, “death will be no more” and the earth will be restored to paradise conditions (Revelation 21:3, 4)
- That God’s Kingdom is the solution to all human suffering (Matthew 6:10)

These promises, highlighted on JW.org, were the anchor of Robert’s faith — and they remain a source of comfort for all who look to Jehovah for strength during times of loss.

Robert lived with the quiet confidence that he would one day awaken to a world filled with peace, health, and joy. Until that day, he rests in Jehovah’s loving memory, awaiting the moment when Jesus calls and “all those in the memorial tombs” come out to live again on a paradise earth.

He will be deeply missed — but never forgotten

Arrangements are under the direction of White Funeral Home and Crematory.
