Kathryn M. Knight Fahnestock of Carthage passed away Saturday, July 29, 2017 at St. Luke’s Nursing Center in Carthage. She was born February 22, 1935 in Carthage. She was the daughter of Jessee Knight and Florence Foland Knight.
Kathryn was a rural mail carrier in Clinton, Missouri retiring from that position. She returned to Carthage 15 years ago. She was a member of Church of the Brethren in Clinton.
Kathryn is survived by two daughters: Lora Champlin of Carthage and Sandi Woody of Independence, Missouri, two sons: Karl Knight of Neosho and Leslie Sanders of Carterville, two brothers: Chester Knight of Phoenix, Arizona and Norman Knight of Carthage, one granddaughter and two great-grandchildren.
Kathryn was preceded in death by two brothers: Ray Knight and Ivan Knight.
Memorial Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, July 31, 2017 at the Ulmer Funeral Home. The body has been taken for cremation. Arrangements are under the direction of the Ulmer Funeral Home.
