Wanda Mae Lawrence, a lifelong Carthage Missouri resident passed October 21, Searcy Arkansas following a sudden illness.
She leaves behind two sons, George Thomas Clayton and wife, Angela, Searcy Arkansas, James L. Lawrence and wife, Jo, Alba, Missouri; six grandchildren, Amber, Cassie, Jake, Gail, Roy, Troy; 11 great-grandchildren, Hailey, Cody, Autumn, Olivia, Reagan, Emily, Erin, Kyle, Kaity, Cairo, Knox; one brother, Lavanus Spry.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Juanita Spry; two husbands, George H. Clayton, James L. Lawrence; one son, Donnie Clayton, one daughter; Connie Clayton; four sisters, Betty Stark, Evelyn Johnson, Janice Spry, Phillis Spry; and one brother, Charles Spry.
She was a lifelong member of Christ Church of Perseverance and was retired from Precious Moments where she worked in the gift shop.
Wanda’s love of life will be missed by everyone who knew her. She wants every one of her family and friends to know that she loved you all dearly and looks forward to meeting you again someday on the other side.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 26, 2018 at Christ Church of Perseverance with Tom Black minister officiating. Burial will follow at Weaver Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions are requested to Christ Church of Perseverance and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
