Jan Cole

Jan Cole, 75, lifelong Seneca resident passed into eternal rest November 17, 2020 at her home in rural Seneca after a long illness.

Jan was born February 19, 1945 in Tulsa, OK the daughter of Walter and Mary (Sargent). Jan was a graduate of Seneca High School and she took several classes at Crowder College and NEO. She loved and supported Joyce Meyer Ministries. 

Jan formerly worked as a Dental Assistant for Dr. Berry in Seneca. She formerly worked for the Seneca R7 School District as a financial secretary and for the City of Seneca as City Clerk for several years. Jan loved sewing, knitting and quilting. 








She loved all seasons but her favorite season was winter. Jan loved to travel to Lake City, CO in February for her birthday to ski and ride snow machines. Jan will always be remembered for beautiful smile and her kindness towards others.

Jan was preceded in death by her mother and father and one brother Robert (Bob) Hottel.

Jan Hottel married David Cole August 24, 1963 in Seneca, MO and he survives.

Additional survivors include one son; Craig Cole and wife Crystal, Nevada, MO; one daughter, Jennifer O’Conner Lander, WY; two grandchildren Paige O’Conner, Lander WY and Riely O’Conner, state of California and a host of friends.

Graveside services under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO, will be held at 2:00pm, Friday, November 20, 2020 at the Seneca Cemetery with Mark Landrith officiating.
