Beverly Baker

(From Parker Mortuary)

On September 3, 1940, Frank James and Laura Waters welcomed a loving daughter, Beverly Ann. Born in Sand Springs, Oklahoma, Beverly had two brothers, Frank James Waters, III and Otis Eugene Waters (deceased), and was raised with three cousins, Kenneth McDaniel, Earnestine Rose, and Dana Samuels. She graduated from Sand Springs Booker T. Washington High School in 1961.

She was united in marriage to Robert Lee Baker. Three sons were born to this union, Roby Dale Baker, Keith Lamont Baker, and Korian S. Baker.

After a long career at the Tulsa Housing Authority, Beverly relocated to Neosho, Missouri. Although she held various part-time positions there, her full time job was serving the Lord.

She was a gifted musician with an amazing voice who shared her talents unselfishly. But her greatest contribution was exemplified in her unwillingness to sit back and watch others suffer. If there was a way to meet the need, she was determined to fund it and make it happen. She was a relentless fundraiser. When funds were being raised, she would not let up until the need was met.

Beverly left a legacy of Godly love and cherished memories to her three sons, Robby, Keith (Tulsa), and Korian (Broken Arrow); grandchildren, Shakesha, Tory, Kelsy, Koriyan, and Korion; great-granddaughter, Mesha; great-great-grandson, Titus; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral service will be Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at New Testament Holiness Church,( 7648 Greenbriar Dr. Neosho MO 64850) with Pastor Dwayne Blue officiating.

The family will receive friends at Parker Mortuary on Friday from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.
