Les Barnes

Leslie Charles Barnes, 74, Neosho, MO, passed away December 4, 2021, at his home in Neosho after a long illness.

Leslie Charles Barnes was born September 1, 1947, in Geneva, OH, the son of Donald and Mary (Eggleston) Barnes.

Les was a jack of all trades. He formerly worked in the automotive field, agricultural and steel industries as well as selling insurance. He also owned his own catering business, BBQ restaurants, and construction company throughout Ohio, Arizona, Colorado, and Missouri. 








In 1995 he moved back to Neosho, MO. He loved cars, cooking, and baking, and using his hands. Leslie was of the Assembly of God Faith.

Leslie Charles Barnes married Sharon Louise Barnett on April 8, 1966, in Geneva, OH and she survives.

Additional survivors are his children, Tammy Miles and husband Robert, Prescott, AZ, Sherry Geek and husband Joe, Westminster, CO and Christine Jeffers and husband Bruce, Seneca, MO; 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

The body has been taken for cremation under the direction of Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home, Seneca, MO.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, December 9, 2021, at the Campbell-Biddlecome Funeral Home with Chaplin Roger Flint officiating.
