Pam Porter

Pamela Lynn “Pam” Porter, age 60 of Joplin, Missouri, passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021 at her home.

Pam was born January 2, 1961 in Springfield, Missouri, to Bobby Joe and Sharon (Hull) Stapp. Pam was lifetime resident of the Joplin area and graduated in 1979 from Diamond High School. She was a homemaker.

Pam was united in marriage to Rick Porter on May 21, 1983 in Diamond, Missouri. Together they shared over 35years before her passing.

Pam enjoyed playing Bingo with friends, seeing what treasures she could find at local rummage sales, and going to her TOPS meetings. Pam never met a stranger and loved getting to meet and visit with new and old friends alike. She was always willing to help others and had a huge heart. Her grandchildren and children meant the world to her. Pam cherished the time spent and memories created with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Pam was preceded in death by her mother Sharon (Hull) Stapp.

Pam is lovingly survived by her husband, Rick; children, Cory Allen Porter (Alisha) of Joplin, Cody Aron Porter (Ashley) of Joplin; grandchildren, Araia Porter, Kaia Porter, Elei Golf, Jayden Porter all of Joplin; father, Bobby Joe Stapp; sister, Valeria Gideon (Rick) of Wyandotte, Oklahoma; brothers, Ryan Stapp (Alisha) of Webb City, Missouri, Bobby Joe Stapp Jr. of Joplin; together with extended family and friends.

Memorial services will be held, Thursday, December 16, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Journey Baptist Church with Pastor John Boyd officiating.

Cremation arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Parker Mortuary
