Marjorie McQueen

Marjorie Helen McQueen, age 93, of Joplin, Missouri, formerly of Cassville, passed away on Friday, April 29, 2022, at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, Missouri. 

The daughter of Raymond and Wilma (Arnold) Kring, Marjorie was born on February 4, 1929, at the family home in Cassville. She was a 1947 Exeter High School graduate. 

On July 31, 1952, she was united in marriage to Leslie Eldon McQueen in Bentonville, Arkansas; he preceded her in death on April 24, 2020. 








Marjorie was very loving, had a huge heart, and enjoyed reading in her spare time. She was utterly and completely devoted to her family, caring for them was her fulfillment and greatest joy in life. Marjorie was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include one son, Eldon McQueen, of Okeechobee, Florida; one daughter, LeAnn Standlee and her husband Darrell, of Joplin; two granddaughters, Melissa Jankowski and her husband Eric, of Bangor, Maine, and Lauren Peterson, of Joplin; six great-grandchildren, Alex, Ava, Fred, Georgia, Eloise, and Beatrice; and several nieces and nephews, including special niece, Kaye Porter and her husband Charles, of Exeter.

In addition to her parents and husband, Marjorie was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.

No services are scheduled at this time.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville, Missouri.
