Sue Taylor

Emma Louise “Sue” Iseli Taylor, 87, a resident of Bella Vista, Arkansas since 2021, departed this life on Thursday afternoon, March 9, 2023, at Highlands of Bella Vista after a gradual decline in health.

Sue entered this life on July 31, 1935, in Anderson, Missouri, one of eleven children born to the late Thomas Oakly and Lillian Leota May (Davis) Painter. She was raised on a farm between Anderson and Pineville and attended Pineville Schools.  









On August 30, 1952, she was united in marriage to Eugene Iseli and to this union a son and daughter were born. They resided in Janesville, Wisconsin until moving to Rogers, Arkansas in 1968. In 1978, she and Eugene moved to Anderson and for ten years they owned and operated Jesse James Package in Pineville. Eugene passed away on April 1, 1993. 

In 1999, Sue married Jack Taylor and the two of them moved to Camdenton, Missouri to reside on the lake. She enjoyed attending church gatherings, golfing, fishing and staying active. She was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Camdenton.

She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands, Eugene Iseli and Jack Taylor; and eight brothers and sisters.

Sue is survived by her two children, Tom Iseli and wife, Ellen, of Anderson and Jane Gay and husband, Tim, of Bella Vista; three grandchildren, Jason, Andrew and Susan Iseli; thirteen great grandchildren; a sister, Jeannie Dobson of Janesville, Wisconsin; a brother, Jimmy Painter of Anderson; as well as a host of other family and friends.








Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, 2023 in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes with Chaplain Abby Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Tracy Cemetery. 

Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearers are Jason Iseli, Josh Iseli, Andy Iseli, Susan Iseli, Tim Gay and Kenny Smith. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 5-7:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
