(From Parker Mortuary)Pauline Quattlebaum, age 77 of Joplin, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly at Mercy Hospital in Joplin on Friday, March 8, 2024. Pauline was born on January 10, 1947 in Wichita, Kansas to the late Paul and Omie (Cox) Viney.
Pauline moved from Wichita in her teen years to California where she graduated school and went on to receive her L.V.N certification. During her time in California, she met and married Clifford ‘David’ Quattlebaum, Jr. They were married on May 11, 1968 in Lynwood, CA., David survives of the home in Joplin. The family eventually moved to Missouri in 1989 and she became a homemaker, raising her kids.
Surviving Pauline include her husband, David of the home; sons, Paul Quattlebaum (Becky), Christopher Quattlebaum (Kerry) and David Quattlebaum, III (Aimee), all of Joplin; daughter, Candace Quattlebaum of Joplin; sister, Linda Miller (David) of Joplin; 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, plus a host of extended family and friends.
A Memorial Service has been scheduled for Friday, March 15, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the Parker Mortuary Chapel.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri.
