(From Parker Mortuary)Sarah Ann Stinebaugh, age 68 of Joplin, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Friday, March 8, 2024. Sarah was born October 14, 1955 in Neosho to the late Joseph and Effie (Thompson) Lane.
Sarah was a graduate of Neosho High School and later became a manager of several local motels in the Joplin area. She later went to spend time working for HUD prior to retiring due to health.
Surviving Sarah are four sons, John Lane (Angie) of Ft. Worth, Texas, Chad Butler (Angy) of Joplin, Joshua Gill and Scott Gill, both of Joplin; three brothers, Jim Lane (LaDonna) of Stockton, Missouri, William Lane and Ralph Lane (Anne) of Joplin; nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Other than her parents, Sarah is preceded in death by her sisters, Betty Lane and Ada Sparks, and a brother, Bob Lane.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri.
