(From Fohn Funeral Home)Tamara “Tammy” Lynn Sanders, age 66, of Granby, Missouri passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at her home.
She was born October 21, 1957 in Neosho, Missouri, the daughter of Clyde and Bonnie (Lewis) Sanders, who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were one brother, J.R. Sanders, and the love of her life, Lonnie Weems.
Surviving are two daughters, Reagan (Todd) Stringer of Cassville and Jamie Sidney of Granby; seven grandchildren, Bayle (Dayton), Hunter (Haven), Breklyn, Peyton (Michaela), Brylee, Dylan and Ashlyn; two brothers, Rick Sanders and Ed Sanders; two sisters, Rita Scholes and Angela Dunn; nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Tammy grew up in the Boulder City area where she attended East Newton High School. She was an Indian soul at heart. In her younger days, she enjoyed horseback riding, being creekside, singing with her soulmate, Lonzo and collecting Indian memorabilia.
A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
