(From Paul Thomas Funeral Home)Kevin Scott Carpenter of Galena, KS passed from this life Monday, April 29, 2024 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, MO. He was 53.
Kevin was born October 7, 1970 in Kansas City, MO to Larry and Doris (Bouyear) Carpenter. He had lived in Galena for the past 20 years moving from Independence, MO. He graduated from Blue Springs High School in Blue Springs, MO in 1988. Kevin owned and operated KC’s Custom MCs in Galena and Quapaw and loved building custom motorcycles.
Kevin was preceded in death by his father.
Kevin is survived by his girlfriend, Lindsay McDonald of Quapaw, OK, 2 sons, Scott Carpenter and wife Christina of Independence, MO and Daniel Carpenter of Seneca, MO, his mother Doris Carpenter of Independence, MO, 3 brothers, Monte Carpenter of Park Hill, MO, Mark Carpenter of Blue Springs, MO and Jeff Carpenter of Blue Springs, MO, 1 sister, Wendy Carpenter of Buckner, MO and 3 grandchildren, Essie Carpenter, Jacey Carpenter and Ashyn Carpenter.
Celebration of Life Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 4, 2024 at Paul Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Miami, OK with visitation following.
