Doyle Dingman

Doyle Irvin Dingman, 90, of Mindenmines, MO, passed away on January 7, 2025, at Via Christi Village in Pittsburg, KS.

He was born on September 22, 1934, in Lamb County, TX, to Arza Jake and Annie Marguerite (Clanton) Dingman.








Doyle lived in the Mindenmines area his entire life. He was a master carpenter for over 60 years, known for his skill and dedication to his craft. He was a lifetime member of Mindenmines Christian Church, where he served as the resident carpenter, gardener, and all-around fixer and maintainer, supporting the church community with his talents.

Doyle was married to Norma Elaine Edds on February 14, 1954, and they spent 52 years together until her passing in 2006.

Doyle is survived by his daughters: Terri (Ken) Thornton of Pittsburg, Anita (Nick) Rose of Mindenmines, and Lisa (Todd) Lovell of Saddlebrooke, MO. He is also survived by his sister, Roberta Smith of Bethany, OK; his brother, Walter (Sheri) Clanton of Joplin, MO; and grandchildren Angela, Matthew, Troy, Mandy, Ryan, Amy, Whitney, and Zach. Doyle also had 10 great-grandchildren, who brought him great joy.








He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Rita, and her husband, Jim Leibbrand.

Funeral services will be 10:30 am, January 13, 2025 at Mindenmines Christian Church with Rev. Dan Moss and Rev. Joel Dermott officiating. Family will receive friends at the church from 10am until services time on Monday. Condolences may left at www.bathnaylor.com. Memorials may be made to the Church. Doyle will be laid to rest at Nashville Cemetery. Services are under the direction of the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home of Pittsburg.
