(From Benton County Funeral Home)Suzana Carol (Sue) Frederickson, aged 90, of Rogers, passed away on January 19, 2025, in Rogers, Arkansas. Sue was born on December 24th, 1934 in Maquoketa, Iowa. She was the cherished daughter of Paul and Sarah Hurst Cooper.
On May 25th, 1974 she married Ron Frederickson, who she found by dialing a wrong number in search of an appliance repairman, in Rio Rico, Arizona. After a blind date, the two were almost inseparable.
Sue was a dedicated professional involved in real estate sales in Joplin, Missouri for many years. She had a knack for making new acquaintances feel as if they were old friends. She always had a story to tell, making those around her laugh at her often-hilarious endeavors.
She was a valued member of the Cedar Ridge Congregation of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Neosho, Missouri. Many of her dearest friends remain in Neosho and Maquoketa, Iowa where they lived for several years to assist in the care of her mother until her passing.
In 2021 Sue and Ron moved to Northwest Arkansas to be near her daughter, son-in-law and grandsons. Her daughter cherished this time with her in her twilight years.
Sue was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ronald Earl Frederickson, 2 sisters, Doris Miller and Betty Barth and two grandchildren, Evan and Christina Jordan.
She leaves behind a loving family that include her children: Jeff Jordan and his wife Gwen, of Maquoketa, Iowa, Randy Jordan and his wife Brooke, of Lebanon, Missouri, Nick Jordan and his wife Ethel, of Riverton, Kansas and Tamara “Tami” Floyd and her husband Richard of Rogers, Arkansas. She is also survived by her brother, Paul Cooper and wife Audrey of Steven’s Point, Wisconsin.
Sue was a proud grandmother to Stephen and Matthew Floyd, Tiffany Lucas, Joshua, Charity and Nicholas Jordan, and Hannah Smith. She was also blessed with eleven great-grandchildren who will continue her legacy.
