Jim Anderson

Jimmy Lee Anderson, 75, died at 3:00 P.M., Monday, March 30, 2026 at the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.

He was born September 14, 1950 at the former Mercy Hospital at Parsons, a son of Ralph Harold and Goldie Maxine (Miller) Anderson. He grew up at Parsons and attended school here. He first began working with his father who was a general contractor and then worked for a fiberglass manufacturing company in Altamont. He had many self-taught trades and worked many years as a painter at Larry Allen’s Body Shop. He also worked many years at Power Flame, retiring in 2012.








On March 21, 1973 he was united in marriage to Cassie Fay Whittley at Parsons. She preceded him in death on December 13, 2007.

He was of the Christian faith. He enjoyed old cars, fishing, camping, trail walking and spending time with family. He was a collector of many things and was artistic in many ways.

Survivors include: one son and daughter in-law – Freed and Candi Anderson, Port Huron, MI; five grandchildren – Chance Whittley, and his fiancée, Brittney Spear, Neosho, MO, Loreli Whittley, Parsons, KS, Kenzie Foster, and her husband, Jason, Port Huron, MI, Keely MacDonald, and her companion, James Kozfkay, Port Huron, MI, Hannah MacDonald, and her fiancée, Cody Bieth, Port Huron, MI; seven great-grandchildren – Celena Whittley, Neosho, MO








Raelynn Whittley, Neosho, MO, Gavin Foster, Port Huron, MI, Amelia Foster, Port Huron, MI, Kye Foster, Port Huron, MI, Ellianna Whittley, Neosho, MO, Winston Whittley, Neosho, MO; three brothers – Wayne Anderson, Webb City, MO, Art Anderson, Neosho, MO, Jerry Anderson, Dennis, KS; three sisters – Wanda Noe, Parsons, KS, Linda Pirnie, Kansas City, MO, Sandra McReynolds, Joplin, MO. He was preceded in death by one daughter – Tonya Lee Davis on January 16, 2010; one brother – Martin Marty Anderson on May 11, 2005.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, April 6, 2026 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Pastor Christie Walker officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 5:00 Sunday at the CARSON-WALL FUNERAL HOME.
