Gary Dean Brooks, 68, Monett, died July 28, 2014 at Granby House Nursing Home, following a short illness.
Gary was born June 5, 1946 in Pizgah, Iowa and lived most of his life in Monett. He worked as a residential construction contractor. Gary married Sandra Lynn on June 28, 2005 in Cassville, MO and she survives. He is also survived by a brother, Larry Brooks and wife, Cecilae, Neosho; four nephews, Jerry, Bobby and Wayne Brooks, Granby and Michael Cates, Kansas City, MO; a niece, Kimberly Green, Granby and numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Brooks and sister, Betty Jean Cates.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
Cremation services are under the direction of Clark Funeral Home.
