Jeff Pittman

Jeffrey Todd Pittman was born in Joplin, Missouri March 3, 1965 and left this earthly life 12-30-2019 after battling declining health for an extended period of time.

Jeff graduated from Missouri Southern and University of Tulsa law school in 2001. From an early age, he had a proclivity to taking risk. As the neighborhood kids gathered on their Schwinn bikes on any given day, Jeff was the one who built the ramps higher and farther apart with little fear of the outcome of his daredevil jumps.

He loved baseball from a young age and excelled in the catcher position where he reveled in being a part of every play and the occasional play at the plate where he never backed down from a collision to prevent a run from scoring.

Jeff was bright and intelligent and to those who knew him, he was a natural comic. You couldn't be around him long without leaving with a smile or a new joke to remember. Jeff enjoyed entertaining people and being social, he had the Boardwalk Club for some time.

In 2012 he married Charla and they were still very much in love and she will miss him dearly.

Jeff leaves behind his loving parents, his wife Charla, his three children Spencer(Springfield Mo), Jacob(St Louis Mo) and Lyla(Joplin), his younger brother Courtney and wife Liz and their three boys in Kansas City, and his youngest brother Justin and Gina in Joplin.

No services are planned at this time.
