Betty Peterson

Betty Francis Peterson (Harrison) passed away on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at Seneca House Nursing Home in Seneca, Missouri at the age of 84. She was born to Ben and Louise (Lauderdale) Harrison on January 4, 1937 in Delaware County, Oklahoma.

Betty lived a life full of hard work, love and faith. She attended Southwest City High School, graduating in 1957. 








Shortly after graduating from high school she moved to Kansas City where she met the love of her life, George. They were married in 1974. Betty began her career working for The American Hereford Association in Kansas City. She then went to work for the The Veterans of Foreign Wars where she spent 35+ years in charge of printing and distribution.

She is survived by her husband, George; a sister Pat Hauser (Dick) and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Louise Harrison and sisters, Margaret Connor and Mary Louis Harrison. Betty was a woman of faith, integrity, and hard work. Always caring more for those around her than herself, she gave of her time and talent to lay up for herself treasures in heaven. Now there is rejoicing as she hears the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant. Enter now into your Father’s glory.”

Graveside service for Mrs. Peterson will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, July 12, 2021 at the Cummings Cemetery in Tiff City, Missouri.

Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Ozark Funeral Homes, in Anderson, Missouri.
