(From Ulmer Funeral Home)Martha “Marty” Mobley, 79, of Carthage passed away at 4:02 p.m. Tuesday July 13, 2021 at her home. Martha was born August 28, 1941 in Lincoln, Arkansas, the daughter of Beverly C. Bowlin and Alma “Bush” Bowlin. She was a longtime Carthage resident since 1976.
Martha was a nurse tech at St. John’s Hospital for 24 years. She was a member of Three Point Church, Carthage.
Martha loved to garden and sew, make doll houses and was a true giver always helping others.
Martha was united in marriage to Wilbur “Jim” Mobley on January 22, 1972 in Topeka, Kansas. He preceded her in death May 5, 2016.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday July 19, 2021 at Three Points Church, Carthage. Burial will be in Fasken Cemetery. On line condolences may be sent at www.ulmerfh.com. Arrangements are under the direction of the Ulmer Funeral Home.
