(From Lakin Funeral Home)Paulette Sue Willoughby, age 68, of Aurora, MO (formerly of Pierce City) passed away on Monday, August 16, 2021, at Mercy Hospital Aurora.
Paulette was born in Bakersville, CA on Sunday, June 21, 1953. She was the daughter of Harold Willoughby and Norma (Young) Dacy. Paulette graduated from Oakview School in Monett, MO. She retired from the Sheltered Workshop in Monett.
Paulette enjoyed being outside, visiting with family, and listening to gospel music and coloring. She walked many miles in Pierce City and enjoyed embroidering. Paulette loved to dance and play Bingo.
Surviving are the following, one brother, Bob Dacy and wife, Lynda, of Monett, MO; one sister, Theresa Day and husband, Rick, of Fairview, MO; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, and cousins.
Paulette was preceded in death by her father, Harold Willoughby; mother, Norma Dacy; stepfather, Robert Dacy; one brother, Gary Willoughby; and two sisters, Patty Mason and Jo Lynn Ford.
Viewing will be at Pierce City Cemetery from 1:00 PM until time for services. Graveside services and burial will be at Pierce City Cemetery in Pierce City, MO on Friday, August 20, 2021, beginning at 2:00 PM with Pastor Scott Hawkins officiating. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Lakin Funeral Home in Pierce City, MO.
