(From Parker Mortuary)Christina Case, age 37, was born on the loveliest of days, March 26, 1987 in Joplin, MO and left the world much darker, on October 7th 2024. They are survived and mourned by her husband Jer Case, her two children Arlo and Gavin Case, her parents, Dwight and Patricia DeBusk, her siblings, Shellie Brickman, Benjamin DeBusk, Stephanie Hosfelt, and Hannah Adams, her mother and father-in-law, Kenneth and Brandi Case, and family.
Christina most notably worked with children and adults as a social worker. She was a painter and a musician. They made yams every Thanksgiving. She was outrageous, and soft: passionate and absurd.
Christina was the gentlest and silliest of souls, unable to find the need to belittle or even think unkindly of anyone. Every human she met, she wished the best for. Every animal, she thought she could keep and mother. Her children give her a 5 star review, “she was a really great mom”.
As we sometimes see, the best of us often think the least of themselves, and those of us that make the human race better as a whole, don’t see how important they are to the people that love them. However, her family would like everyone to spend a minute of their day to find the silliest of things to make them smile. Find the rock that has a hole, and wonder how it got there. Or the oddly shaped leaf and imagine why it is that way. She was too soft for this world, so as often as we can remember, in her honor, we should make the world a softer place.

With love, we will remember her, and try to be a bit more like her.
A service will be held Sunday, October 13, 2024 at the Ottawa Tribe Cemetery at 1:23 pm.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to the Trevor Project.
