(From Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home)L D Rhine, age 91, of Aurora, Missouri, passed away at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at his home. He was born October 28, 1933, in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, the son of Adam and Mary (Workman) Rhine.
L D worked for Ladish-Armco Corporation in Cudahy, Wisconsin. He was a United States Army veteran serving during the Korean Era. He enjoyed fishing and attended the Aurora Baptist Temple.
On December 12, 1987, he married Peggy Ann Wisniewski, in Purdy, Missouri.
L D is survived by his wife of 37 years, Peggy; five sons, Sven Erickson and his wife, Kelly, of Omro, Wisconsin, James Erickson of Aurora, Missouri, John Erickson and his wife, Victoria, of Aurora, Missouri, Todd Rhine of Cassville, Missouri and Jeff Rhine and his wife, Jessie, of Muskego, Wisconsin; two daughters, Lori Shaeen of New Hampshire and Lillian Erickson of Stella, Missouri; one sister, George Ann Clevenger of Pierce City, Missouri; 23 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and one on the way.
L D was preceded in death by his parents, Adam, and Mary; two sons, Larry, and Mark Rhine; sister, Janelle Jones and brother, Gene Rhine.
No services are planned currently. Arrangements are under the direction of Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home, in Aurora, Missouri.
