Margaret Wilson

Margaret June Graves Parrott Wilson, age 98, 8 months 18 days of Tucker, Georgia passed away in her home on Thursday, February 20, 2025.

Margaret was born to the late Fred and Bertie Graves in Joplin, Missouri. She was a 1944 graduate of Joplin High School. Margaret married Charles A. Parrott June 17, 1945. They had four children. Charles preceded her in death September 18, 1973. She married Ted Glenn Wilson Jr. on August 12, 1978. Ted preceded her in death on January 18, 2008.








During high school she worked at the Paramount Theater, while her twin sister, Margia, worked at the Fox Theater. All her married life she was a homemaker. Later in life she worked in a clothing shop. Margaret enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports, keeping her shorthand and typing skills proficient, and loved gardening, reading, and travel. In her nineties she enjoyed listening to music. 

She had the ability to recall every family member’s birth and anniversary dates. She was a lifetime member of Community of Christ Church. Along with several other 1944 classmates and her twin sister Margia, she helped organize “Club 44” in 1991. Margaret and her husband Ted really enjoyed getting together with classmates.

Surviving are her three daughters, Vicki L Miller (Steve) of Albuquerque, NM, Beverly J Gullatt (Marvin) of Tucker, Georgia, and Cathy Hale (Marty) of Cleveland, Georgia; three granddaughters, Becky, Beth and Wendy; two grandsons, Chris and Spencer; one great-grandson, Tye; and numerous stepchildren and grandchildren and nieces and nephews.








Margaret was preceded in death by her son, Charles A Parrott Jr. (Chuck); both parents; six brothers; and five sisters.

Details of the memorial service will be forthcoming. Margaret and Ted faithfully supported numerous charities. In lieu of flowers you may donate to a charity of your choice in Margaret’s honor. Margaret’s favorite Bible verse was the 23rd Psalm. She is now rejoicing in heaven with many family members and friends.
