(From Parker Mortuary)Myra Kay Saggert, age 53 of Joplin, Missouri, passed away suddenly at her home on Thursday, May 1, 2025 following an extended illness. Myra was born September 11, 1971 in Carthage, Missouri to the late Emerald ‘Dean’ and Clare (Sears) Edwards.
Myra was a graduate of Joplin High School with the class of 1988. She worked for a few different positions in the Joplin area but retired at an early age due to health issues. She enjoyed all her friends in her “tiny community”, enjoying games of Yahtzee and just loving on her family.
Myra is survived by her children, Tyler Seeley and Kimberly Blizzard; grandchildren, Destiny, TeGhan, Landan, Alli, Kenny and Brayden; sisters, Deana Sanders and Jill Scott (Melvin); numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Other than her parents, Myra is preceded in death by her husband, Chebonnie Saggert.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
