(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Albert Neumeyer, 79, of Joplin, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at his residence.
Albert was born on December 3, 1945 in Dallas, Texas.
He had resided in Joplin since 1995, moving from Sand Springs, Oklahoma.
He was a Mess Management Specialist in the Navy, and he also served in the Vietnam War.
He loved working on motorcycles and cars.
He married Linda Koch on January 24, 2003, in Joplin, Missouri and she preceded him in death on June 5, 2025.
Survivors include one stepson; Dr. George (Tony) Koch and spouse Dee, one stepdaughter Victoria Young of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, two sisters, six step-grandchildren and one step great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents; James Edwin and Ruth Evelyn Howard Neumeyer.
A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
