(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Michael Thomas Dillon, age 70, of Leavenworth, Kansas, passed away on August 9, 2025, in Joplin, Missouri.
He was born on December 27, 1954, in Leavenworth to Thomas and Carmel Dillon.
Michael dedicated much of his career to serving as head of janitorial at the Leavenworth V.A., where his hard work and commitment were greatly valued.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Michael is survived by his children, Adam Dillon and wife Lisa of Joplin, Zaac Dillon of Arizona, Samantha Young of Joplin, and Amber Dillon of Joplin; and his brothers, Danny Dillon and wife Sandy of Fort Scott, Kansas, Chuck Dillon and wife Carrie of Wisconsin, and Sam Dillon of Leavenworth.
Michael will be remembered for his dedication to his work, his love for his family, and the quiet strength with which he lived his life.
There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, August 23, 2025.
