(From Clark Funeral Home)Dale Stanley went to be with the Lord on August 17, 2025 in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of 78.
Born in Jefferson City, Missouri, Dale spent his formative years in Goodman, Missouri, where he attended school. Dale sold Real Estate from 1987 until 2012 and later found joy in selling classic cars and was part of Lost N the 50's Classic Car Sales and Museum in Neosho, Missouri for 13 years. At the time of his death, he was still selling classic cars on-line. He was a regular at car shows and was known for his knowledge, friendly spirit and gift of gab.
Dale married his beloved wife, Patricia "Pat" (Hull) on June 2, 1972 at First Baptist Church in Neosho, Missouri. They shared fifty-three years of love and a life together before Dale's passing.
Dale was a member of First Baptist Church in Neosho, Missouri, and his faith guided much of his life. He and Pat enjoyed traveling to Colorado and hiking in the Rocky Mountain National Park. He had a gift of connecting with others and truly never met a stranger. One of his greatest joys was riding in the patrol car with his son, Scott, a memory he cherished deeply.
Above all, Dale loved and valued his family. He is survived by his children: Sandy Rupp and husband Mike of Nixa, Missouri, Scott Stanley and wife Darla of Carthage, Missouri, Ronda Buller of Joplin, Missouri, and bonus son Johnny Carlton and wife Becky of Anderson, Missouri. He leaves behind 9 grandchildren, a great granddaughter and a great grandson due in December. Dale is also survived by 3 cousins: Rick Morris of Neosho, Missouri, Reita McCray and husband Jim of Brier, WA, and Penny Coleman and husband John of Springfield, Missouri.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Faye and Harold "Doc" Parker, his infant brother Larry Stanley and his brother Gary Stanley, plus his long-time canine companion, Fritz.
Visitation will be held Thursday, August 21, 2025, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories in Neosho, Missouri. A funeral service will follow on Friday, August 22, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at the same location with Pat's cousin Roger Flint officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Newton County Shop with a Deputy, c/o Clark Funeral Home, P.O. Box 66, Neosho, Missouri 64850. Dale will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
