Sara Lynn Smith of Miami, OK passed from this life Thursday, August 28, 2025 at her home. She was 75.

Sara was born July 3, 1950 in Miami, OK to Herbert and Caroline (Newton) Beauchamp. She had lived in the Miami area most of her life except for 30 years when she lived in various places including Owasso and Grand Lake. Sara had graduated from Miami High School class of 1968. She attended N.E.O. A&M College in Miami, OK and Prep School of Real Estate in Tulsa, OK. 

She had worked at various banks for 17 years and was a realtor with Keller-Williams Realty for 13 years, retiring in 2012. After retirement she worked at Will Rogers Middle School Cafeteria. Sara was a member of First Christian Church in Miami, OK and a past member of National Association of Realtors.

Sara was preceded in death by a son, Michael Sweeney, her parents and 1 sister, Jan Allton.

Sara married Wayne Smith on September 30, 1988 in Miami, OK and he survives of the home. She is also survived by 2 sons, Shawn Smith and his wife Lori of Edmond, OK and Mikal Smith and his wife Lori of Joplin, MO, 2 daughters, Kim Arnold and her husband Steve of Oilton, OK and Andrea Farley and her husband Dave of Independence, MO, her brother-in-law, Tom Allton of Miami, OK, 11 grandchildren, 2 nieces, Jennifer Farris and her husband Jamie of Miami, OK and Jill Walther and her husband Marcel of Miami, OK and 1 great niece and 1 great nephew.
