(From Clark Funeral Home)Mary “Joyce” Philliber, 85, of Neosho, Missouri passed away at her home at 11:50 pm on August 21, 2025, after an illness. Joyce was born to Marion (Don) Middleton and Mary Matilda (Speir) Middleton on November 9, 1939, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Joyce was raised in Bartlesville alongside one brother, John Middleton.
Joyce married Jerry Sarcoxie in 1958, and this union was blessed with one son, Johnny Sarcoxie. In 1963, Joyce married Webster Philliber, and together they were blessed with two children: Rhonda Philliber Shuey and Justin Philliber.
Webb and Joyce operated Webb’s One Stop in Neosho, Missouri from 1987 until retirement in 2002. Joyce was a woman of faith, and attended Cave Springs Baptist Church in Neosho, Missouri. She loved Jeeps, and enjoyed hunting for, and adding to her Native American collectibles.
Joyce is survived by her children: Johnny Sarcoxie of Neosho, Missouri, Rhonda Philliber Shuey and husband Kenny of Neosho, Missouri, and Justin Philliber and wife Charlotte of Leonardville, Kansas, five grandchildren: Shelley Sarcoxie Reeves, Jerome Sarcoxie, Brad DeGraw, Ryan Ley, and Phillip Ley, and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother John Middleton

Visitation will be held from 5:30-7:00 pm on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at Clark Funer Home in Neosho, Missouri. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025, at the Missouri Veteran’s Cemetery in Springfield, Missouri.
