(From Ulmer Funeral Home)Donald Perkins, 91, of Carthage, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at the St. Luke’s Nursing Center in Carthage. Donald was born in Stanley, Kansas, on August 31, 1934, to Frank and Ruby Perkins. He started working for the United States Postal Service in 1992 and retired after 26 years of service. He really enjoyed caring for his animals.
Donald was joined in marriage to Juanita Harrison on July 3, 1971, in Overland Park, Kansas.
He is survived by his wife Juanita; four nephews; and three nieces.
Don was preceded in death by his son, Mitchel Perkins (2023); his parents; seven brothers; and two sisters.
There will be a memorial service to honor Don’s memory on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at Ulmer Funeral Home in Carthage, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
