(From Parker Mortuary)Nona Gertrude Murphy Brewer was born to Ethel and Clarence Murphy on August 24, 1927 in Flippin, Arkansas. Nona married Paul Lee Brewer December 14, 1945.
She is survived by one sister, Floy Ann Routledge of Spring City, Missouri; four sons, Stephen Brewer married to Beverly of Grove, Ok, Phillip Brewer of Grove, Ok, Wesley Alan Brewer married to Shelly of Grove, Ok, and Edward Brewer married to Tammy of Hollister, MO; One daughter, Susan Brewer Purcell married to Max of Hollister. Nona had 10 grandchildren and 18 grandchildren. Nona also has several nieces and nephews.
Nona was preceded in death by her mother, Ethel Cook Foster, two sisters, Mildred Booe and Betty Reniker, and one grandson, Paul Stephen Brewer.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery in Joplin, MO.
